What is dried longan?

  • Dried Longan is simply the product of fresh longan, dried, shelled and pitted, reserving the meaty flesh inside.
  • In general, small fresh longan are used for dried longan.

How to do I choose quality Longan?  

  • Color: Quality sun-dried longan has brilliant yellow color. Dark yellow with red-brown tones is secondary.
  • Dryness: Ensure that the meat is dry.
  • Quality of meat: Good Longan isdense and clean (no dirt, mildew, insects).

Additional Information:

  • Because dried longan contains a lot of sugar, mold can occur easily, so store in a sealed airtight container in a cool dry place.
