What is Tian Qi?
- Tian Qi is a perennial herb from the Genus Panax family. The medical part comes from the rhizome.
- Tian Qi is a horizontal spindle-shaped succulent root with short or long rhizomes.
- Chinese people also call it San (Three三) Qi (Seven七) Seng (Ginseng參) because the plant itself has three branches with seven leaves each branch; others say it got the name because it takes three to seven years before it can be harvested.
